A sectional barge is a modular steel barge in standard widths and lengths that pins together with other sections to form whatever deck size your project needs. Sentinel sectional barges use a pin-flange connection system.

Standard Barge: 10×20×5 and 10×40×5. Heavy Duty Crane Barge: 10×20×7 and 10×40×7. Back Lake Barge: 8×20×4. Custom-built sections come 8, 10 or 12 ft wide and 3, 4 or 5 ft tall, in any length.

Standard Barge: 36,000 lb evenly distributed. Heavy Duty Crane: 58 tons per barge with 1 ft freeboard per 41′4″ section. Back Lake: 20.3 tons per barge with 1 ft freeboard per 20′ section.

Through a pin-flange connection system with a double-head connector pin. Two pins make a solid connection, and every Sentinel model shares the same system.

The pins are designed to resist corrosion jamming. Like any steel in water, inspect them and keep them clean as part of normal maintenance.
