- A sectional barge is a modular steel barge in standard widths and lengths that pins together with other sections to form whatever deck size your project needs. Sentinel sectional barges use a pin-flange locking system.

The Pin System
Direct answers about heavy deck barges, charter terms, and global delivery.
- Through a pin-flange locking system — precision-machined double-headed pins in flanged sleeves welded to each section's perimeter. No bolts, no threads, no corrosion failure.
- No. Because there are no threads, there is nothing to corrode together. Pins lift out cleanly even after years in salt or fresh water.
