The Heavy Duty Crane Barge is 10 ft wide and 7 ft high, in 20 ft and 40 ft sections. Payload is 58 tons with 1 ft of freeboard per 41′4″ section. The 7 ft depth instead of 5 ft gives a significantly stronger platform plus extra freeboard, needed for heavier lifts or when working in surf or choppy water. Floats can be built two, three or four barge-widths long.
